Briefly summarize how your experience in
intercollegiate athletics
helped prepare you for the real world:
College tennis combined the best of
both the individual battle and the team battle. Tennis is
predominantly an individual sport. Victories and losses boil down
to you and you only. This helps in business when YOUR own results
are being evaluated. This translated well to a sales/results
oriented business environment. The team aspect of tennis translated
well into the management of a sales team. In business, there are
times where the ability to foster a strong team environment is
important. |
