| Briefly summarize how your experience in
intercollegiate athletics helped prepare you for the real
world: Being a former all-american athlete has
prepared me for many of life's challenges. First and foremost, the
concept of team plays a role in all that we do as functioning
adults. For me, softball taught me life skills like negotiation,
teamwork, thinking outside the box, integrity, and cooperation. I
am forever grateful for my experiences at USC and know that I am
where I am today as a result.
