Briefly summarize how your experience in intercollegiate athletics helped prepare you for the real world:
Playing football and at SCSC and USC gave me the opportunity to mature and develop many life skills that I have passed on to former students and players. Many Coaches and Professors at the University played an impressionable role in my life that led me to pursue a career in teaching and coaching. The daily experience of competition along with the lessons of perseverance while belonging to something that is much greater than yourself is one of the greatest Life Lessons that I encountered as intercollegiate athlete.
What are some major post-collegiate accomplishments you'd like to share with us?
Retired Dean of Students, Fountain Fort Carson High School 31 years. Next fall will mark the 25th. season as Head Football Coach at FFCHS. White House speaker for Laura Bush in "Helping Americas Youth Initiative" 2006-08.
