CSU-Pueblo announces 'buck nights'
Pueblo, CO (January 1, 2010) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo athletics department is pleased to announce January 2 and 3, 2010 as the annual "Buck Nights" with the ThunderWolves. "Buck Night" means that all fans attending the games pay $1 for a general admission game ticket. Also, this year, "Buck Night" is also honored at the Massari Arena concession stand. Several food and drink items will only be $1 each.
"We want to use ‘Buck Night' as an opportunity for friends and fans to experience the very best in NCAA Division II basketball in hopes that they'll like it and come back again throughout the rest of the season," said Joe Folda, the CSU-Pueblo athletics director.
"We also want to be able to offer an affordable entertainment option for Puebloans during these tough economic times. A family of four can come out the game and really enjoy themselves for less than $20," said Folda.
On January 2, the ThunderWolves women host the Central State (OH) Mauraders at 6 p.m. at Massari Arena. The men will tipoff at 8 p.m. while hosting the Northern New Mexico Eagles. On January 3, the ThunderWolves women host the Abilene Christian University Wildcats at 6 p.m., while the men will have the night off.
