2012 'Divots & Drinks' & 'ThunderGals Open' is June 28-29

Annual event to benefit 'The ThunderGals', CSU-Pueblo booster club for women.

PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - June 5, 2012) - The second annual ThunderGals 'Divots & Drinks' event, as well as the second annual 'ThunderGals Open', will take place on June 28 and 29 at Pueblo West's Desert Hawk Golf Course.

The events, the staple summer events for the "ThunderGals Club", CSU-Pueblo's women-only booster club, will allow participants to meet and greet ThunderWolves student athletes, coaches and administrators while enjoying a nice game of golf.

Whether you are an avid golfer, a weekend warrior, or never have picked up a golf club, the first ever CSU-Pueblo ThunderGals Open and Divots & Drinks has something for you.

The ThunderGals Divots & Drinks will provide an opportunity for you and your friends to receive instruction from the CSU-Pueblo men’s and women’s golf teams on June 28. Following the hour and half lesson, you are invited into the Desert Hawk Golf Course club house for a complimentary “ThunderTini” (or any other beverage).

The Thundergals Open, scheduled for June 29, offers an 18-hole women’s only scramble. You can form your own team or we will place you on a team.

Cost: Free for current ThunderGals Club members
$15 for non-Thundergals

9:00 a.m. Shot gun start

18-hole women’s only golf scramble (teams of four)

Cost: $75 for ThunderGals members (Guests $95) - Cost includes entry into Divots & Drinks
$15 for Divots & Drinks Only.
