Rawlings Sports Complex

Colorado State University-Pueblo's Rawlings Sports Complex is one of the region's finest multi-sport complexes, housing the CSU-Pueblo baseball, softball and men's and women's soccer programs.

The Rawlings Sports Complex features a 2,500-seat baseball facility, Rawlings Field, and the four-diamond Rawlings Softball Complex, as well as the Rawlings Soccer Complex

The three facilities together opened in 1994, to usher in the creation of the women's soccer, baseball and softball programs at CSU-Pueblo.  The construction was made possible with a $1 million gift by Pueblo Chieftain publisher, Robert H. Rawlings, and earned the distinction of being the "best outdoor facility in the nation" by Athletic Management magazine.  For his contribution, Rawlings was named the 1996 College Division donor of the year by the National Association of Athletic Development Directors.

In 2008, the baseball and softball complexes were fitted with synthetic turf backstops while the baseball facility added a synthetic turf infield, giving the ThunderWolf infielders the advantage of fielding the truest bounces in the RMAC.

Following the conclusion of the 2009 season, the Rawlings Soccer Complex welcomed the installation of lights, paving the way for years of Friday ThunderWolf Night Soccer at the facility.
