Grimaldo and Rosenbrock named Pack Athletes of the Week presented by Mobile Record Shredders

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 28, 2016) - Colorado State University-Pueblo's Sandra Grimaldo (Sr., Mammoth Lakes, Calif.) and Kyle Rosenbrock (R-Fr., Brush, Colo.) have been named Pack Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Mobile Record Shredders.

Grimaldo led CSU-Pueblo women's soccer to a 3-2 victory on the road at Black Hills State in RMAC action Sunday. She scored the games' first goal in the 28th minute, dribbling through the defense and firing a shot high and under the crossbar for her third score this season.

She later assisted in the game winning ngoal in the 57th minute, feeding a ball in to the center of the box to a Pack player who struck a one-timer beyond the reach of the Yellow Jackets goalkeeper.

On the men's side, coming off the bench, redshirt-freshman Rosenbrock led the CSU-Pueblo defense with nine tackles (three solo), as the Pack posted a shutout for 59:52 and relinquished just six points to New Mexico Highlands.

He recovered a fumble and returned it 54 yards to the NMHU 6-yard-line. Three plays later the Pack found the end zone. Rosenbrock also recorded his first career sack (-13 yards) and totaled 1.5 tackles for loss (-14 yards).

CSU-Pueblo women's soccer (4-3, 1-2 RMAC) wraps up its current four game swing Friday at Colorado Christian at 1:30 p.m. at Trailblazer Stadium. The Pack return home Sunday Oct. 2 and begins a six-game homestand against No. 3 Colorado School of Mines at the Art & Lorraine Gonzales Soccer Stadium.

The Pack football team hits the road this week for an RMAC battle at No. 17 Colorado Mesa. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Stocker Stadium.
