COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), in conjunction with streaming partner Stretch Internet, is pleased to announce that fans can now access content from the RMAC Network and all 15-member institutions through custom applications on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV.
The RMAC is the first of Stretch Internet's nearly three dozen conference partners to boast custom apps across all four OTT platforms.
These apps will provide fans a seamless way to access content directly on their TVs – with no need to "relay" or "cast" the stream from tablets, phones, or desktop computers. Users can access the content simply by searching for "RMAC" on the app interfaces on any of the compatible devices, and then downloading the free RMAC Network app.
Using the professionally-designed, intuitive interface, fans can easily view a conference-wide schedule of live, upcoming, and on-demand broadcasts – or filter by a specific school.
A recent study by comScore revealed that 51 million U.S. homes used OTT in April 2017, and that OTT penetrates 54 percent of homes with W-Fi.
"We're extremely excited to offer a suite of beautiful, intuitive apps for the RMAC and its schools and fans," said Stretch Internet President and CEO Ryan Ermeling. "As one of the premier Division II conferences, these apps will continue to raise the bar in providing the best fan experience possible."
