March snowstorm cancels numerous events

Two CSU-Pueblo home golf tournaments have been cancelled, as well as road baseball, softball and tennis matches have had its schedules adjusted in light of snowstorms.

The CSU-Pueblo women's golf program's Lady ThunderWolf Invitational was called after playing 18 holes Thursday (the second round was slated to take place today) while the CSU-Pueblo men's golf program's Wolf Pack Invitational was cancelled outright.  The tournament was slated to take place Friday and Saturday.

The CSU-Pueblo road baseball showdown with New Mexico Highlands was called after the ThunderWolves were trailing 18-1 in the sixth inning.  The game will be concluded at 11 a.m. Saturday, and will be followed by another game, the second game of the series.  The two teams plan to play two games Sunday.  The entire weekend baseball schedule will go on, weather permitting.

The CSU-Pueblo road softball series at Metro State, slated to take place Saturday and Sunday, will be pushed back a day to a Sunday/Monday pair of doubleheaders.

The ThunderWolf women's tennis team's road trip to Oklahoma Saturday was also cancelled due to the snowstorm.
