The first annual CSU-Pueblo Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place Friday, Oct. 30 at the Pueblo Union Depot, 132 W. B Street in Pueblo.  A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a program at 6:30 p.m.

The cost to attend the banquet is $30 per person, which includes a meal prior to the ceremony.  A cash bar will also be available. 

The banquet will recognize the inaugural members of the Hall of Fame, which includes former student-athletes Pat Bekeza (Baseball/Men's Basketball), Nadia Fercha (Women's Basketball/Women's Soccer), Frank Grant (Football/Men's Track), Freda Hancock (Women's Track), Daniela Ivana (Women's Tennis), John Martinez (Men's Track), Chuck Pipher (Wrestling), Cal Tatum (Men's Basketball), coach inductee James "Spank" Blasing (Track and Field), Pueblo Chieftain publisher Robert H. Rawlings (contributor), and special inductee, Dr. Dale Rea, former Pueblo Junior College coach and administrator.  Also being inducted are the 1961 men's basketball NJCAA National Championship team.

The inductees will also be recognized on Saturday, Oct. 31 during halftime of the "Hall of Fame Game" between CSU-Pueblo and Western New Mexico at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.  Prior to the game, inductees and interested individuals may receive a tour of the revitalized Colorado State University-Pueblo campus, as well as participate in a special Hall of Fame pre-game tailgating session at noon.
