CSU-Pueblo student-athletes, coaches and staff thrive on competition. It doesn't matter whether it's for straight A's, winning a big game, getting the key recruit, or being the best athletic department in the nation. CSU-Pueblo is here to compete. The Wolf Pack Alliance is here to compete and raise as much money as possible for increased scholarships, enhanced academic services for our student athletes, and additional operational budgets. The goal of the 2008-09 Wolf Pack Alliance Drive is to compete for $100,000 to Expand Opportunities for our student-athletes. The Alliance consists of the Wolf Pack Club, the Varsity Club, and the Pack Partners. Each of these three options allows everybody a chance to contribute to the success of CSU-Pueblo Athletics. The Wolf Pack Club is the official booster club of the ThunderWolves. Based on your donation, you will receive benefits such as complimentary season tickets, hospitality room access, and invitations to Wolf Pack Club luncheons, just to name a few.
The Varsity Club is CSU-Pueblo's exclusive club for former student-athletes from Pueblo Junior College, Southern Colorado State College, the University of Southern Colorado, and CSU-Pueblo. Finally, the newly created "Pack Partners" is a dedicated group of volunteers who assist with game-day ticket sales, staff registration tables at CSU-Pueblo athletic special events, or help in the athletic office. The goal of the Alliance is to provide the necessary resources to ensure academic and athletic success for CSU-Pueblo's current 360 student-athletes. Since 1996, CSU-Pueblo has won 30 conference team titles, qualified for 24 NCAA Division II National Tournaments, crowned 28 All-Americans, and had 302 student-athletes earn Academic All-RMAC honors. "Every high school player dreams of being able to play college
basketball, but the reality is, very few ever get that chance. To
be able to play the sport I love at the college level, and have
them pay for my education at the same time is an
honor."
“The support and energy from our boosters is the driving
force that allows our student-athletes to succeed. We
can’t do it without you.”
