CSU-Pueblo student-athletes, coaches and staff thrive on competition. It doesn't matter whether it's for straight A's, winning a big game, getting the key recruit, or being the best athletic department in the nation. CSU-Pueblo is here to compete. The CSU-Pueblo Development Department is here to compete and raise as much money as possible for increased scholarships, enhanced academic services for our student athletes, and additional operational budgets. The 2009-10 fund raising goal is $500,000 to Expand Opportunities for our student-athletes through Corporate Partnerships, the Wolf Pack Scholarship Drive, Varsity Club, special events and endowed scholarships. Corporate Partnership allows businesses and companies an opportunity to brand their services or products, provide hospitality to employees or clients, and purchase media buys while providing much needed resources to the CSU-Pueblo Department of Athletics. The Wolf Pack Scholarship Drive provides an opportunity for individuals and small businesses to support CSU-Pueblo athletics. The Varsity Club is CSU-Pueblo's exclusive club for former student-athletes from Pueblo Junior College, Southern Colorado State College, the University of Southern Colorado, and CSU-Pueblo. Special Events are held throughout the year to not only help raise money to CSU-Pueblo athletics, but provide an opportunity for individuals to meet ThunderWolves coaches, staff and student-athletes. Endowed Scholarships provide donors a chance to remember an individual for perpetuity. "Every high school player dreams of being able to play college
basketball, but the reality is, very few ever get that chance. To
be able to play the sport I love at the college level, and have
them pay for my education at the same time is an
honor."
