PUEBLO, Colo. (June 1, 2015) ~ The Colorado State University-Pueblo ThunderWolves Golf Classic will be held Friday, Sept. 4 at the Pueblo Country Club.
The entry fee for the 4-person scramble event is $700 and includes green fees, cart and range balls and a post-golf lunch as well as on-course drinks, contests and giveaways. Additionally, corporate teams ($900 entry fee) receive benefits, including a hole sign, signature advertisement in CSU-Pueblo Gameday Football Program and an autographed commemorative national championship football.
Registration for the tournament opens at 7:30 a.m. The range will open for practice at 7:30 a.m. as well. The event will get under way with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Following the conclusion of play, lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m. Tournament awards will be given out during the lunch hour.
The golf classic precedes the Pack’s 2015 football season opener Sept. 5 at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl. The defending national-champion ThunderWolves challenge Central Washington University at 6 p.m.
The proceeds from the 14th annual tournament will benefit the CSU-Pueblo Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund, which helps more than 550 student-athletes in 22 varsity sports. Golfers will have the opportunity to meet some of these student-athletes on each hole.
Hole sponsorships are also available for $125.
