2007: Was one of the ThunderWolves' top
relievers in 2007, seeing appearances in 22 games ... Pitched three
innings of lights out baseball in mopup duty, allowing no
earned runs, during a 15-12 victory over Central Washington
Feb. 19 ... Earned the win after allowing three hits in 3-1/3
innings in a 17-9 win over Regis Mar. 18 ... Finished the season
second on the team with a 4.06 ERA.
At Ohlone CC: Played multiple positions, as
well as seeing time in relief for the Renegades ... Recorded two
saves in 15 innings of work in 2006.
High School: 3-time All-Conference team as a
pitcher and infielder at Newark Memorial High School ... 2004
Athlete of the Year ... Also was a 2-time All-Conference team as a
quarter back ... Was team captain of both teams ... Posted a 2.8
GPA.
Personal: Son of Ed and Donna Balentine ... Has
three siblings, Eddie, Kayla, Tatum ... Currently majoring in
