CSU-Pueblo Baseball Camps to take place in June

Pueblo, Colo., May 13, 2008 - The Colorado State University-Pueblo baseball team will hold its summer camps for youths aged 8-12 in June 2008. Four camps will be offered during the month in which CSU-Pueblo coaches and players will help campers develop their skills.

From June 9-11, a skills camp will be offered covering all aspects of the game, similar to the annual Christmas Camp held by the baseball program. The cost for this camp is $65 and includes a camp T-shirt.

A team camp will be offered from June 16-19, allowing for live competition to occur for campers in game-like situations. The cost for this camp will be $65.

An elite hitting camp will be held June 24 and 26, providing athletes with an intense level of training in regards to the offensive portion of baseball.

The last camp is an elite pitching camp, which will be held June 25 and 27, providing athletes with proper training and instruction in pitching fundamentals.

The cost for each of the elite camps is $55.
