Pack cool streak continues, loses 13-4
Nebraska-Kearney 13, CSU-Pueblo 4
KEARNEY, Neb. - CSU-Pueblo suffered its second series sweep of the season Sunday when it lost 13-4 at Nebraska-Kearney.
The loss drops CSU-Pueblo to 32-18 on the season and 21-14 in RMAC play as Kearney moves 3-1/2 games back of the Pack with four games remaining in the RMAC Plains Division standings.
Pitching was the culprit for the Pack as Kearney put up five runs in the second inning, and CSU-Pueblo was never able to recover.
The ThunderWolves will have a chance to work out the cobwebs prior to the beginning of the RMAC Tournament on May 6 with a four-game home series vs. Colorado Mines. The first of which, taking place on Fri., May 1 at 7 p.m., is the annual Art and Lorraine Gonzales Pack the Park event.
