COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo was picked to finish third in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and repeat as RMAC Plains Division champions, according to the 2010 RMAC Preseason Baseball poll released Tuesday.
Senior pitcher Dillon Meaney (Sr., Westminster, Colo.) was also a preseason all-RMAC selection. Meaney, who notched two postseason wins for the Pack last season, went 7-1 with a 5.81 ERA last season. He is slated to be the Pack's "Friday night pitcher" this season.
The ThunderWolves, the defending RMAC Tournament champions, finished behind College World Series qualifier Mesa State and New Mexico Highlands in the preseason balloting. Mesa State lost a number of players from its 2009 regional champion team, while New Mexico Highlands returns nearly every starter from its 2009 regional-qualifying squad.
