Pack alum Massaro voted Northern League all-star

GARY, Ind. - Former CSU-Pueblo outfielder Mike Massaro, current playing with the Gary Southshore RailCats, has been selected to the Northern League All-Star team, the Northern League announced Tuesday.

Massaro, who has hit .320 with Gary in 39 games this season, will be a starter for the Great Lakes team in the Northern League All-Star Game, will take place on July 7 at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, Ill.

This is the second all-star game for Massaro in his professional career.  In 2007, Massaro was a Midwestern League All-Star while playing with the Kane County Cougars in the Oakland Athletics' organization.
