Snow claims Highlands series

Friday: New Mexico Highlands 18, CSU-Pueblo 1 (6 inn. - Snow)

CSU-Pueblo's weekend series with nationally-ranked New Mexico Highlands has been cancelled due to snow, New Mexico Highlands University announced Sunday. 

The first game of the series Friday, called after six innings with Highlands winning 18-1, is now declared an official game.  There will be no makeup games planned.

CSU-Pueblo is leaving for much warmer confines when it travels to the Phoenix area for the Russ Matt Invitational this week.
