18th Annual Baseball & Softball Academy begins Dec. 5
The CSU-Pueblo Baseball and Softball Indoor Academy will again run for the 18th consecutive year at the CSU-Pueblo indoor facility, located at the Colorado State Fairgrounds Livestock Pavilion.
The Academy, which is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Sundays 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., offers open training to area youth to improve their batting, pitching, fielding and base-running skills. The Academy will be open from Dec. 5 through Mar. 6.
The Academy features five batting cages, three soft toss and tee areas, pitching mounds, pitching machines and a full infield and base-running area. All baseballs are provided to participants as well as some training equipment, but participants are encouraged to bring their own bat and glove.
Full tuition to the Academy is $150 (three months of open training), with monthly training options available at $100 per month. Participants can also purchase daily training for $10 per day.
