PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - May 18, 2011) - Three ThunderWolves earned various all-region honors from the American Baseball Coaches' Association Wednesday as catcher Kyle Wager (Sr., Globe, Ariz.) was named first-team all-region and Chase Lacomb (So., Las Vegas, Nev.) and J.T. Greenhood (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) were recognized as first-team regional Rawlings Gold Glove recepients.

Wager, who led the ThunderWolves with a .344 batting average and 10 home runs, played in 47 of the Pack's 53 games this season.  A first-team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference selection, he was one of the conference's strongest players behind the dish, throwing out nearly 40 percent of would-be base-stealers throughout the season.

Lacomb, the Pack's second baseman in 2011, shattered a school record for fielding percentage by a second baseman, fielding .994 and committing just one error all season long.  He committed just two errors overall throughout the season, his other error coming at shortstop.

Greenhood, in his first full season as the Pack's starting rightfielder, also committed just one error during the season, boasting a fielding percentage of .991.

Lacomb and Greenhood become just the third and fourth ThunderWolves to earn Gold Gloves.  Last season, second baseman Mike Sanchez and third baseman Austin Roff earned the honors.

By virtue of their first team selections, Wager is now eligible for selection as an All-American while Lacomb and Greenhood now qualify for national Gold Glove honors.
