ThunderWolves garner flrst place votes in poll
Pack garners one first place vote, but picked to finish 4th.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Jan. 24, 2012) - The CSU-Pueblo baseball team was picked to finish fourth in 2012, but garnered first place votes, according to the RMAC Baseball Coaches' Poll, released Tuesday. Three ThunderWolves also picked up Preseason All-RMAC honors.
The ThunderWolves were picked to finish behind Nebraska-Kearney, New Mexico Highlands, and defending RMAC Champion, Colorado Mesa, which was again picked to win the conference. CSU-Pueblo was also picked to finish behind Colorado Mesa in the RMAC Mountain Division Standings, picked to finish second.
Individually, the Pack boasted three players on the Preseason All-RMAC team, including returning all-conference selections Chase Lacomb (Jr., Las Vegas, Nev.), who was a National Gold Glove Winner, second-team selection Tim Pomierski (Sr., Upland, Calif.) and senior outfielder J.T. Greenhood (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.).
The ThunderWolves open their season Feb. 17 when it begins a four-game series with Montana State-Billings.
