MARSHALL, Minn. (GoThunderWolves.com - May 30, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo second baseman Chase Lacomb (Jr., Las Vegas, Nev.) became the first ThunderWolf since 2009 to garner multiple All-American honors in the same season when he was named a third-team All-American by Rawlings and the American Baseball Coaches Association Wednesday.

With the announcement, Lacomb becomes the first multiple All-American since 2009 when former Pack player Jason Fobes received the recognition as an outfielder.

Lacomb, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year, hit .390 in 2012 with a .529 on-base-percentage, highest in the RMAC and second-highest of any player in the Central Region.  He also secured the 2012 Rawlings Central Region Gold Glove Award for the second straight season.  With the ABCA announcement, however, Lacomb was not chosen for his second straight National Gold Glove Award.
