Joe Romero enters his 11th season with the CSU-Pueblo
baseball program.
Prior to CSU-Pueblo, Romero served as assistant varsity coach and
junior varsity head coach at Pueblo East High School from 1995-97.
During the 1996 and 1997 seasons, East reached the state
tournament's final four.
During the summer of 1997, Romero served as assistant coach for the
Pueblo Chieftains semi-professional team.
This Pueblo East High School and University of Southern Colorado
graduate is an English teacher at the El Pueblo Boys' and Girls'
Ranch.
