Massaro shares AAA shot with CSU-Pueblo family

Just a week ago, Massaro never thought he would be in Colorado Springs with his friends and family cheering him on. He was toiling with the Stockton Ports, the Athletics high-A club, after being demoted from Double-AA Midland. But a rash of injuries on the As at the Major League level prompted Massaros call up, which was part of an organization-wide overhaul that gave a number of players in the farm system a shot on the AAA club, the Sacramento River Cats.

Pack baseball adds 10 for 2009

The CSU-Pueblo baseball program added ten new signees for the 2009 season, Pack coach Stan Sanchez announced Tuesday. The pitching-rich 2009 class includes nine junior college transfers, as well as J.T. Greenhood, a Pueblo County High School graduate, who is one of the most celebrated prep standouts to ever come out of Pueblo.
