Vaughn earns all-region honors from 'Football Gazette'

WINONA, Minn. - CSU-Pueblo junior defensive lineman, Chase Vaughn, was honored with a second team selection to the Don Hansen's Football Gazette all-Super Region Three Team, it was announced Friday.

Vaughn's second team honors places him among six defensive ends in the region to be named to the three-team squad, a region that includes Division II National Champion, Minnesota-Duluth.

Vaughn was the defensive lynchpin for the ThunderWolves in their first season of football in 24 years, recording 10.5 sacks, putting him in the top ten nationally, and 18.5 tackles for loss, a top 25 mark in the nation.  He was previously named a first-team all-RMAC selection.
