Pack's Major tapped as an RMAC Player of the Week
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - For the second consecutive week, a CSU-Pueblo special teams standout has been named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's special teams player of the week, the RMAC announced Monday.
Kyle Major (Fr., Littleton, Colo.), a top kicking standout who hailed from Heritage High School, nailed three field goal attempts in the Pack's 37-7 win over Fort Lewis Saturday, the most field goals in one game by an RMAC kicker so far this season.
Major's 3-for-3 performance comes a week after he was just 1-for-4 on field goals during the ThunderWolves' win over Oklahoma Panhandle State on Sept. 6.
Major is the Pack's second special teams player of the week recipient in as many weeks. Teammate Markus Turner (Jr., Peoria, Ariz.) was recognized last week for his special teams exploits.
