2009: Enjoyed his second straight season
as a first-team all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference
selection after his 70-tackle, 5.0-sack campaign ... Moved from
defensive end to outside linebacker, excelling both in pass
coverage, pass rushing and run stopping ... His 70 tackles were
second-most on the team ... Forced four fumbles, most in the RMAC
... As a tailback, ran in two goal-line scores in the Pack's 41-7
drubbing of his former school, Adams State, in his final collegiate
game.
2008: Was named an honorable mention
all-American by "Don Hansen's Football Gazette" after a 10.5 sack
season in 2008 ... Was a first-team all-RMAC selection at defensive
end ... Was a first-team selection by the National Football
Foundation, Colorado Chapter ... Was an all-region second-team
selection by "Don Hansen's Football Gazette" ... Broke a
school record with a 4.5 sack performance vs. Oklahoma Panhandle
State Sept. 6, being named the NFFCC Player of the Week for his
efforts ... Finished in the top ten nationally in sacks, averaging
1.05 sacks per game ... Recorded 18 tackles for loss for 95 yards
of lost yardage, leading the team ... Turned in a 10-tackle effort
against his former school, Adams State, on Nov. 1, recording two
sacks.
