ThunderWolves net 10 on All-Colorado team

Ten selections mark second-most reps on the All-Colorado team, only behind CU.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Dec. 23, 2010) - CSU-Pueblo placed ten ThunderWolves on the National Football Foundation All-Colorado team, the second-most entrants onto the squad, as the NFFCC teams were released Thursday.

NFFCC board members and the sports information directors from the 10 institutions in Colorado voted on the 2010 NFF All-Colorado team. The 10 Colorado institutions consist of Adams State, Air Force Academy, Colorado, Colorado Mines, Colorado State, Colorado State-Pueblo, Fort Lewis, Mesa State, Northern Colorado, and Western State.



CSU-Pueblo placed three members on the first-team - tailback Jesse Lewis (Jr., Loveland, Colo.), linebacker Lee Meisner (Jr., Sterling, Colo.) and kicker Kyle Major (Jr., Littleton, Colo.).

An additional seven others received second-team honors - tailback Jamaal Johnson (Jr., Fountain, Colo.), offensive linemen Drew Swartz (So., Gilbert, Ariz.) and Ryan Jensen (So., Fort Morgan, Colo.), linebackers Damon Schiele (So., Aurora, Colo.) and Jason Campbell (So., Kailua, Hawaii), cornerback Grant Crunkleton (Sr., Denver, Colo.) and defensive lineman Grant Jansen (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.).

Only Division I University of Colorado claimed as many All-Colorado selections and the Pack led among the state's six Division II programs.  Only Colorado School of Mines came close, getting seven selections.
