Two ThunderWolves identified by pro scouting organization

Seniors Kyle Major and Lee Meisner added to watch list for BSN Collegiate Showcase.

LEESBURG, Va. (GoThunderWolves.com - Oct. 5, 2011) - CSU-Pueblo seniors Kyle Major (Sr., Littleton, Colo.) and Lee Meisner (Sr., Sterling, Colo.), have been added to the watch list for the 2012 Beyond Sports Network Collegiate Showcase, a pro combine-style opportunity for FCS, D-II, D-III and NAIA athletes.

The showcase takes place before the 2012 NFL Draft from March 9-11, 2012 at the Stile Fieldhouse at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. Meisner and Major are the only two student-athletes from the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference currently on the watch list.

This event will feature about 200 athletes from the FCS, DII, DIII, and NAIA levels over the course of 2.5 days. All attending athletes will participate in the combine-style testing, position drills and 1-on-1 drills on Saturday, and then in its "controlled" game (full pads) on Sunday.  Every player is guaranteed 20 to 30 snaps, so all will have a fair chance to showcase their talents.

To date, the BSN Showcase has allowed numerous players at the college level to achieve their goal of continuing their playing career at the NFL, CFL, UFL, AFL, and other indoor league levels. The "collegiate showcase weekend" will spotlight over 200 of the best football players nationwide from the FCS & other levels of college football whom otherwise would not get to display their skills for professional scouts, coaches, and other pro personnel.
