COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Oct. 17, 2011) - CSU-Pueblo's 27-14 win over then-fourth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney Saturday has produced two ThunderWolves as RMAC Players of the Week, the RMAC announced Monday.

Stephan Dickens (So., Aurora, Colo.) earned the RMAC's defensive honors after a two-interception effort in the win, including a 44-yard interception return for a touchdown that effectively sealed the Pack's win.  Dickens also added seven tackles in the game, second-most among CSU-Pueblo defensive backs.

Kyle Major (Sr., Littleton, Colo.) was also selected, earning special teams honors for the third time this season and eighth time in his career.

Major kicked two pivotal field goals in 30-40 mph winds in a road win against Nebraska-Kearney. His first kick was a 22-yarder into the wind in the first half that gave CSU-Pueblo a 10-7 lead at halftime. The second was a 41-yarder with the wind that gave CSU-Pueblo a 20-14 lead late in the fourth quarter. Major has now tied his own single-season record for most field goals in a season with 16. He entered the game leading the nation in field goals and is now 16-for-19 on the year.

In total, CSU-Pueblo has had eight RMAC Players of the Week this season through seven games, far and away the most in the conference.

The ThunderWolves will try to make it six this week when it hosts Colorado Mesa at home.
