Meisner named RMAC scholar-athlete

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - June 12, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo graduating senior Lee Meisner (Sr., Sterling, Colo.) has been named CSU-Pueblo's representative male scholar-athlete for 2012, the RMAC announced Monday.
Meisner, the 2012 recipient of the James "Spank" Blasing Award, given to CSU-Pueblo's top male student-athlete, was named the 2011 RMAC Football Academic Player of the Year, as well as a 2011 All-American and Academic All-American. He was also a semifinalist for the William F. Campbell Award, given to the top college football player regardless of division.
Meisner, along with volleyball scholar-athlete, Ashley Wilkinson, were selected as CSU-Pueblo's representative scholar-athletes this school year.
