PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com – April 11, 2011) – Get a preview of the 2012 Colorado State University-Pueblo football squad as the team will take part in an intrasquad scrimmage on Friday, April 13 before closing out its spring drills on Saturday, April 21 with the annual Red/White Game.

Both games will take place at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.

The scrimmage is slated for a 6 p.m. start Friday, following an "offense vs. defense" format, inserting different offenses and defenses against one another in game situations.  The scrimmage is free and open to the public.

The Red/White Game, taking place April 21 at 1:30 p.m., will feature a "red team" and a "white team", each predetermined via a pre-game draft conducted by the team's players on Friday, April 20. The game will use a running clock of four 15-minute quarters, with the final four minutes of each quarter counted off under normal gameday clock stoppage rules.

The game will immediately follow the annual "Stretch With the Wolves" at 1 p.m., where area youth and "ThunderPup Club" members are invited to participate in a pre-game stretch with ThunderWolves players on the field surface at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.

The Red/White Game will also serve as the ending of the CSU-Pueblo "Early Bird" season ticket promotion, where any fans can lock in a price of $45 per seat for the ThunderWolves' five-game home schedule in 2012, 15 dollars off the regular price.  A representative from the CSU-Pueblo Ticket Office will be on hand to handle season ticket requests as well as purchases at the "Early Bird" price.
