Bredl “The Yeti” set for WWE Tough Enough finale Tuesday; Watch Party at Andy Mac’s

PUEBLO, Colo. (August 24, 2015) – Ten weeks ago, former Colorado State University-Pueblo football standout Josh Bredl (Thornton, Colo.) was selected as one of 13 finalists for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Tough Enough. Tuesday, Bredl will appear on the finale of the show as one of two remaining male contestants vying for a one-year, $250,000 WWE contract.

Seven male competitors started the 10-week reality television series and now it is down to two, as both compete in a live match versus WWE Superstar Cesaro as a part of the finale Tuesday at 6 p.m. MT on USA Network.

Bredl has reached the final show by capturing the WWE Universe with his size and improved wrestling skills, but more importantly his developing character, "The Yeti". Each week a competitor was selected to the bottom three by a panel of WWE judges and then a fan vote decided who was no longer tough enough.

The winner of the competition and contract will also be selected by the fans in a live vote at the end of the one-hour finale. Fans can vote three different ways once the polls open, on Twitter using the hashtag #ToughEnoughJosh, on the WWE Tough Enough App or by texting the competitor's name to 21523 from your wireless phone (Message and data rates may apply).

Bredl (2009-14) played a key role both on defense and special teams in CSU-Pueblo's run to the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship. An All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Honorable Mention in 2014, Bredl compiled 24 tackles (21 solo) with four sacks (-23 yards) and two fumble recoveries. He brought one fumble back 66 yards to the end zone and blocked a field goal attempt in the national championship game. Following the season, Bredl earned a Rookie Mini-Camp invitation from the National Football League's Green Bay Packers.

The CSU-Pueblo Alumni Association is hosting a WWE Tough Enough Watch Party at Andy Mac's Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m. Anyone supporting #YETINATION is welcome to attend! Food and drink specials will be available. Andy Mac's is located at 2149 Jerry Murphy Rd in Pueblo.
