COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 14, 2015) – Colorado State University-Pueblo senior Kieren Duncan (WR, Goodyear, Ariz.) was honored as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week, Monday in a league announcement.
Duncan returned a kickoff 98 yards to the end zone to put the ThunderWolves within one at 31-30 with under two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter at West Texas A&M University Saturday. On two kickoff returns he totaled 131 yards for a 65.5 yards per return average.
Duncan's 98-yard kickoff return was the first kick return for a touchdown since Marguise Enach returned a kick 97 yards against Adams State, Sept. 18, 2010.
The No. 13 ThunderWolves (1-1) begin RMAC play Sept. 19 with a home game against Western State Colorado University. The contest is set for 6 p.m. at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.
