WACO, Texas (September 14, 2015) – Following a 31-30 loss at West Texas A&M University Saturday, the Colorado State University-Pueblo football team fell to No. 13 in the American Football Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll, Monday.
The ThunderWolves (1-1) were ranked No. 2 entering the game, but the loss - just the second regualr season setback in five seasons - move the Pack back in the coaches poll.
Minnesota State University, Mankato remained the No. 1 team in the poll, while the ThunderWolves' semifinal opponent a sesaon ago, University of West Georgia, moved up to No. 2.
The ThunderWolves return home Sept. 19 and begin Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play with Western State Colorado Universiy. The contest is set for a 6 p.m. kickoff at Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.
