ThunderWolves football sits at No. 9 in poll


PUEBLO, Colo. (September 15, 2015) – The Colorado State University-Pueblo football team was No. 9 in the latest poll, released Tuesday. 

The ThunderWolves (1-1) dropped from No. 2 after losing 31-30 at West Texas A&M University Saturday. 

Minnesota State University, Mankato remained the No. 1 team in the media poll, while the Pack's NCAA Division II Playoffs semifinal opponent from a year ago, University of West Georgia, moved into the No. 2 spot. 

Colorado School of Mines is the only other ranked Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team, as they hold down the No. 13 spot. 

The ThunderWolves begin RMAC play at home Sept. 19 when Western State Colorado University visits the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
