WACO, Texas (September 28, 2015) – Monday's release of the American Football Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll had the Colorado State University-Pueblo football team again at the No. 10 spot, as the top 13 teams remained the same in this week's listing.
The ThunderWolves (3-1, 2-0 RMAC) are coming off a 42-27 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory against visiting Western New Mexico University.
Minnesota State University, Mankato is the No. 1 team in the poll with 30 first-place votes, while the ThunderWolves' semifinal opponent a season ago, University of West Georgia, was No. 2 for the third straight week and picked up the other two first-place nods.
The ThunderWolves hit the road Saturday, Oct. 3 to battle Adams State University in a 1 p.m. RMAC tilt. The Grizzlies are coming off a historic comeback victory, as they defeated Western State Colorado Unviersity 52-51 in the second overtime after trailing 42-6 in the first half.
