DENVER (April 12, 2016) - Former Colorado State University-Pueblo All-American football student-athlete Cameron McDondle (Littleton, Colo.) participated in the Denver Broncos Pro Day Tuesday at the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse in Denver.
Nine former collegiate athletes who all went to high school within 20 miles of Sports Authority Field at Mile High, which made them eligible for Broncos Pro Day, participated in the event. The opportunity gave the invitees the chance to show their skills in front of Broncos coaches and personnel executives, including Executive Vice President/General Manager John Elway and Head Coach Gary Kubiak.
McDondle posted back-to-back 2,000 yard seasons for the ThunderWolves and in addition to being an All-American by multiple publications as a senior, McDondle was third in the voting for the Harlon Hill Trophy, which recognizes the top player in NCAA Division II.
McDondle hopes to hear his name called April 28-30 during the NFL Draft or to get a call soon after for an opportunity in the NFL.
