#PackPros: Morgan Fox signed to LA Rams Practice Squad

LOS ANGELES (September 7, 2016) – Former Colorado State University-Pueblo football All-American Morgan Fox realized a dream Sunday when he was signed to the practice squad of the National Football League's Los Angeles Rams for the 2016 season.

After signing an undrafted free agent contract in May, Fox (2012-15) spent the summer and training camp with the Rams and found a spot on the practice squad. He played in all four preseason games and totaled six tackles (six solo). In the finale, the ThunderWolves' all-time sacks leader totaled three tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss and four quarterback hits.

With the signing, Fox made three former members of the Pack who will be on NFL rosters this season, the most since the restart of the program in 2008. Joining Fox will be offensive lineman Ryan Jensen (2009-12), who enters his fourth season with Baltimore Ravens. Mike Pennel (2013) begins his third season as a defensive tackle with the Green Bay Packers.

Kieren Duncan (2012-15) was released by the Chicago Bears following the third preseason game. In those three contests, Duncan returned two kickoffs for 45 yards (long of 25 yards) and a punt for six yards. He was targeted twice as a receiver.

C.J. Roberts (2011-14) has been successful in the Canadian Football League with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In seven games, Roberts is tied for fifth on the team in tackles with 26. He owns two interceptions, one of which was returned 19 yards for a touchdown.
