PUEBLO, Colo. (September 27, 2016) - Former Colorado State University-Pueblo football All-American Kieren Duncan signed a contract to the practice squad of the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers, announced on the organization's website Tuesday.

Duncan conducted his first practice with the team today and Tweeted, "Great first day of work, blessed to have a job doing what I love."

The former Pack wide receiver and kick returner signed an undrafted free agent contract with the National Football League's Chicago Bears in May and spent the summer and training camp with the team before being released Aug. 28. In three preseason games, Duncan returned two kickoffs for 45 yards (long of 25 yards) and a punt for six yards. He was targeted twice as a receiver.

Duncan joins former teammates CJ Roberts (Winnipeg) and Darius Allen (BC Lions) currently on CFL rosters. Roberts is listed on the six-day injured list, but in seven games has accumulated 26 tackles and two interceptions (one for a touchdown). Allen has played in eight games for the Lions and owns six tackles with a sack.
