#PackPros Update: Four in NFL camp, Roberts starts second season in CFL, two wrap AFL regular season

PUEBLO, Colo. (July 24, 2017) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo football program currently has seven former members of the ThunderWolves on a professional roster either in the National Football League, Canadian Football League or the Arena Football League.

Former wide reciever Larry Clark got things started for four members of the Pack in the NFL, as the Arizona Cardinals began training camp Saturday. Offensive lineman Ryan Jensen enters his fifth season with the Baltomore Ravens organization when the team begins training camp July 27. Finally, two former defensive linemen get things going July 29 when Mike Pennel hits the field for his fourth season in the league and first with the New York Jets and Morgan Fox (2012-15) enters his second season with the LA Rams.

Ryan Jensen (2009-12) - Jensen was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2013 and spent that season on the practice squad. He got his first taste of NFL action in 2014 and has totaled 19 games with nine starts on the offensive line. He will be battling for the starting center position in training camp.

Mike Pennel (2013) - Pennel was signed to the New York Jets in March. He spent three seasons with the Green Bay Packers and in 37 games totaled 40 tackles and one sack.


Morgan Fox (2012-15) - Fox earned a spot on the LA Rams practice squad following training camp last year and by the end of the season totaled four games (played the last three). In those four games, he recorded five tackles with a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

Larry Clark (2016) - Clark was invited to attended the Arizona Cardinals minicamp in May and earned a contract from the tryout. He enters his first NFL camp.

Other Organizations

C.J. Roberts (2010-14) - Roberts spent last season with the Canadian Football League's Winnepeg Blue Bombers and last week was signed to the practice squad of the Ottawa Redblacks. He played in seven games before missing the rest of the season due to injury. The former All-American totaled 26 tackles with and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

Paul Browning (2010-14) - Browning is in his second season with the Arena Football League. After spending a season with the Orlando Predators, Browning is one of the top recievers for the Baltimore Brigade. In 11 games he has brought down 46 receptions for 488 yards and eight touchdowns. Browning ranks 14th in the league in reception yards, which is third on the team.


Chris Bonner (2013-14) - Bonner is spending his first season with the AFL's Tampa Bay Storm. The quarterback has appeared in three games and has made one passing attempt.
