COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (November 14, 2017) - Colorado State University-Pueblo running back Marché Dennard (Phoenix, Ariz.) earned the final Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week award Monday, in an announcement from the league office.
The offensive recognition was the only for the ThunderWolves this season and first of Dennard's career. In total, the Pack gathered five RMAC athlete of the week honors.
Dennard totaled 110 yards on the ground with two rushing scores in a 28-6 victory at Chadron State that clinched the team's sixth RMAC title in the last seven years. During the regular season, he totaled six 100-yard games and found the end zone 17 times on the ground with 18 total touchdowns. He finished the regular season 10th in Division II in rushing touchdowns. The effort also put the junior over 1,000 yards for the season (1,026) to become the 11th Pack player to reach the milestone.

The No. 20 ThunderWolves (9-2, 9-1 RMAC) are headed to No. 1 Minnesota State University, Mankato (11-0, 11-0 NSIC) Saturday, Nov. 18 for the first round of the 2017 NCAA Division II Playoffs. Game time is set for 11 a.m. MST.
