RMAC Game of the Week: Western St. at CSU-Pueblo


PUEBLO, Colo. - October 21, 2009 -- The "RMAC Football Game of the Week" between Colorado State University-Pueblo and Western State airs live this Saturday, October 24 at 2 p.m. MDT on Altitude 2, the alternate channel on the Altitude Sports & Entertainment network.

The ThunderWolves will seek to move above the .500 mark as well as win their first regionally-televised game in program history when the 3-5 Western State College Mountaineers make their first ever trip to the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl.  Both teams have 3-3 RMAC records entering the week.

Play-by-plan man Dan Karcher is the play-by-play voice of the "RMAC Football Game of the Week". Karcher has spent 25 years behind the microphone, the last 20 with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, the triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies baseball team. Karcher is joined by long-time RMAC coach Wayne McGinn as the color analyst. McGinn is the all-time leading rusher at Adams State College and has more than 20 years of coaching experience in the RMAC at Adams State, Western State and CSU-Pueblo. Jon Eddy patrols the sidelines. Eddy is the co-host of the "RMAC Radio Show" and is the on-field host for the Sky Sox.
