Greg Gebhardt was hired as the ThunderWolves assistant defensive backs coach in July.

Gebhardt, a former all-Great West Conference selection at Northern Colorado, played for the Bears from 2001-05, earning his Bachelor's in Journalism in 2006.  In 2006, he was an assistant coach specializing in defensive backs with the Loveland High School football team in Loveland, Colo., helping the squad to the brink of the 5A state championship, finishing as the state runner up.  He also has experience coaching basketball and soccer.
