2007-08: Saw action in mopup duty with the
Pack, taking down over one rebound per game while only
averaging onlly four minutes per game.
High School: Part of a 1A Colorado state
champion squad at Kit Carson High School ... Was an all-state
selection on three occasions ... Named the 1A boys' basketball
state player of the year ... Was a track standout as well, part of
the state champion 4x100 relay team ... Was an all-state selection
while playing football at KCHS, as well ... Graduated with a 3.1
GPA at KCHS, and was a member of the honor roll and a member of
National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Eleanor and Paul Dechant ... Has
one brother, Jason, who played basketball at Tabor College ...
