Pack's Smith named all-RMAC West Division

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - For the second consecutive season, Pack guard Rome Smith (Sr., Denver, Colo.) has been named to the all-RMAC West Division team, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Wednesday.

Smith, the Pack's leading scorer this season, has averaged 16.1 points per game.  Smith leads the Pack in three-pointers made, and is third on the team in rebounds (4.6 RPG) and assists (1.7 APG). Smith's 16.1 PPG is ninth best in the RMAC.

Joining Smith on the all-RMAC team is Jake Trahern (Sr., Kit Carson, Colo.), who received a third-team all-RMAC West Division selection.

Trahern leads the ThunderWolves in blocked shots (2.0 BPG) and shooting percentage (.643), which are the third and second most in the conference, respectively.  Trahern has averaged 13.1 points per game this season, and has set career highs in most offensive categories, including points, blocks, shooting percentage and rebounds (7.0 RPG).

CSU-Pueblo is currently in the RMAC semifinals for the first time since 2000 after defeating Mesa State in the opening round of the RMAC playoffs on Tuesday.
