Pack hoops teams to open RMAC Shootout on the road
PUEBLO, Colo. (March 1, 2010) - The CSU-Pueblo men's and women's basketball squads will each open the first round of the RMAC Shootout on the road Tuesday night, as the Pack women will face Adams State in Alamosa and the Pack men will travel to Grand Junction to face Mesa State.
Both games tip off at 7 p.m. Additionally, the first 100 CSU-Pueblo students with CSU-Pueblo student ID will be admitted free to either game.
The CSU-Pueblo women (17-10, 13-6 RMAC) will take on Adams State (21-6, 14-5 RMAC) for the third time this season when they meet Tuesday at Adams State's Plachy Hall. The two teams split the season series, the home team winning each time.
The CSU-Pueblo men (16-10, 11-8 RMAC) will meet nationally-ranked Mesa State (22-4, 16-3 RMAC), which defeated the ThunderWolves twice this season. Mesa State opens the tournament as the RMAC's regular season champion.
Both games will be aired locally, as the Pack's flagship station, AM-590 KCSJ, will carry the CSU-Pueblo/Mesa State men's game, with play-by-play furnished by J.J. Valentine. The women's contest between CSU-Pueblo and Adams State will air on Homer 1350-AM, Pueblo's All-Sports station. Both games will be streamed live online free of charge at GoThunderWolves.com.
A live video feed of both games, furnished by B2 Networks and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Confernece, are also available for purchase. The cost to purchase the individual game is $7, and individuals who purchased a CSU-Pueblo season pass will not be valid for these or any CSU-Pueblo playoff games.
