Youth Basketball Shootout is Feb. 7, 10 at Massari Arena

PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Jan. 24, 2012) - The annual CSU-Pueblo Pueblo Youth Basketball Shootout, sponsored by Sonic, will take place Feb. 7 and 10 at Massari Arena.

The Youth Basketball Shootout, in which competitors in grades 3-5 compete to score the most points from designated spots in 45 seconds, will hold its preliminary round on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Massari Arena.  Registration will begin at 7 p.m.

The top four placers from each grade and gender will advance to the finals, which will take place on Friday, Feb. 10 during the halftimes of the CSU-Pueblo women's and men's basketball games against Fort Lewis (approximate time 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.). 

Each winner receives a free Sonic combo meal per week for an entire year.  Other winners will receive prizes from Pepsi and CSU-Pueblo Athletics.
