ThunderWolves snag JuCo All-American Lee
Pack adds guard capable of putting up All-American numbers.
PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - July 10, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo has announced its third 2012-13 signee, Labette (Kan.) Community College product and NJCAA All-American, Wendell Lee (Jr., Los Angeles, Calif.).
Lee comes to CSU-Pueblo from Labette Community College in Parsons, Kan., where he helped lead his squad to an 18-11 record. He averaged 15.3 points per game, 7.3 rebounds per game and 1.7 steals per game, earning a ticket to participate in the JuCo All-American Showcase.
With the ThunderWolves, he promises to be a long ball threat, as he sank 43 three-pointers with Labette last season.
"Wendell is an explosive player with a super attitude," CSU-Pueblo head coach Ralph Turner said. "He can score the ball in numerous ways and will be counted on heavily to help shoulder the offensive load. He is a potential All-American for the Pack."
The California-native will be a junior in eligibility next season with the Pack.
