RMAC: Duarte recognized while Pack's stock drops
COLORADO SPRINGS - Pack junior David Duarte (Jr., Fountain, Colo.) was recognized for the second consecutive year as preseason all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, though the entire Pack golf squad wasn't afforded the same respect in the RMAC Preseason Men's Golf poll, released Thursday.
After finishing third in the conference last season, establishing itself as one of the more competitive golf teams in the region, the ThunderWolves were tabbed to finish sixth out of eight teams in the conference.
The ThunderWolves will look to show up the doubters Sept. 8, when they take part in their first tournament of the season, the Regis/Mines Invite, in Lakewood, Colo.
